Only can happen to me

Found something to blog about. So, my grandma gave us a George Forman grill when she was down here last time. I put it in the pantry and haven't used it until tonight. I go to open it and I find this:




Yes, that is right. They emptied their junk drawer into this box when they moved last Spring and thought it was the grill. So, I sent grandpa an IM and he said, "Oh we have been looking for those keys". LOL! Needless to say, when my mom goes up to see them in the next few weeks, we will make a trade. Until then, my steak will stay in the freezer.

More Babies!!

My Aunt's Boyfriend's Son and DIL had twin boys on June 13th. I went to see them today at the hospital. She was only about 31.5 weeks along, so they are in the NICU. Baby Corbin was 3lbs 8oz at birth and Baby Zane was 3lbs 14oz at birth. Baby Zane is doing great, but Baby Corbin still has a respirator and will need it for a bit longer. Otherwise, they are both doing very well. Both Mommy and Daddy are also doing well. Mommy has a HUGE c-section scar because Baby Z was high up under her ribcage, but is healing well. Says that she isn't even on drugs, although she thinks that she should be taking advantage of them while she is there. LOL! She should get to go home Friday or Saturday, but they plan on spending as much time as possible with the boys.

To my cousin Kim. She competed last night in Ms. Gem County, a preliminary to the Ms. Idaho Pagent. She got 2nd runner up and a $1,000 scholarship, so I guess it was worth it. This picture is of Kim and our grandmother.

Just keeps getting better and better

This week has SUCKED for me. I will be so glad when it is over. Today though was definitely the topper. I lost a $50 check and I can't for the life of me find it. The bad part is that it is from a breast pump I sold to a total stranger, so I just don't feel comfortable calling them and saying, "hey I am a moron, could I get you to write me a new check??". Fuck. Sometimes I sincerely hate being an idiot.

Another Diaper Cake

This one is for twins so that is why it is so big. I FINALLY got it finished because I FINALLY found the ribbon. And where did I find it, you ask? At Wal-Mart. Where I looked the first time and was told by the bitchy sales lady that it was a "specialty item" and to try Michaels. So, I went back today to buy some material and the wonderful sales lady working today told me that they had ribbon that would do what I wanted and it was already precut. So glad that I went back today!! LMAO!

Welcome to the world Lauren Elizabeth

My friend Natasha had a baby girl today at 5:15 p.m. She was 7lbs 13.5 oz and 20 inches long. They named her Lauren Elizabeth. I hope that Natasha heals quickly and Sharon posts some pictures ASAP!!
